We’ve been here in Village Otur for a long time now. You’ll find us right near the Maharashtra Bank branch, which is basically where everyone ends up at some point during the day. This part of Taluka Junner is quiet but we keep busy enough with the work that comes through the door. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks, some old files, and a lot of tea being drunk while we figure out what needs doing for the day. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s just how it is around here. People know where to find us. We open up early, usually when the sun is just starting to get warm, and stay until the work is finished or we get too tired. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there’s always someone you know sitting around. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most folks just walk in because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us in this corner of the village. We handle a bit of everything that comes our way, trying to be helpful without making a big fuss about it. The bank is a good landmark because everyone knows it, so we just tell people to look for that and they usually find us eventually. It’s just how we live.
