Pushkaraj Mandap Decorators

Pushkaraj Mandap Decorators is located over at 4 Warje Malwadi Ganpati Housing Society. We are in the Bhoj Building, up on the 1st Floor right near the Jakat Naka 411029. It is mostly just us surrounded by piles of fabric, poles, and strings of lights. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. Being a decorator means you are always on the move, but this office is where we keep all our stuff. It is not a fancy showroom. It is mostly storage and a small desk where we take notes on scraps of paper. We handle the setups for weddings and local events around the area. Sometimes we are up at four in the morning trying to get a tent up before the sun gets too hot. Other times we are taking everything down in the middle of the night. It is a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy pipes and climbing ladders. Our hands are usually a bit dirty from the ropes and the dust. We have lived in this part of town for a long time, so we know most of the streets by heart. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to tie a proper knot and keep the fabric from blowing away. It is a messy business but it is what we do. The office is usually cluttered with artificial flowers and leftover ribbon from the last job we finished.
