We are located at 56 Sinhagad Road, right across from the Ramkrishna Math. It’s a busy stretch of road in Pune, and our shop is usually full of school kids and office people looking for pens, notebooks, or some craft supplies. Popular Stationeries has been here for years, and we’ve seen the road outside get wider and busier over time. The shop is packed with shelves from floor to ceiling because we try to keep a bit of everything. Sometimes it feels a little cramped when a whole group of students comes in at once to buy their project materials. We don't have a computerized system or anything; we just know where everything is kept. If you need a specific type of paper or a certain pen, we usually have to dig it out from a back shelf. It’s a local business where we talk to the parents and know which schools are asking for what books this year. Across the street, the Math is a quiet place, but on our side, it’s all about the rush of people heading up Sinhagad Road. We open early in the morning and stay open until the evening commute is over. It’s just a regular stationery store where we try to help you find the right pencil or eraser without making a big deal out of it. We keep track of all the new school syllabus requirements every single season.
