Poona Restaurant

Poona Restaurant is a small spot located on Poona College Road in Bhawani Peth. We are right at Shop number 3 in survey number 717, which is directly opposite Jay Society. This part of Pune is very old and has a lot of history and narrow lanes. Since we are so close to Poona College, we get a lot of students coming in for a quick snack or a meal between their classes. The area is always buzzing with young people and local residents who have lived in Bhawani Peth for generations. It is a very different vibe compared to the newer parts of the city. Our kitchen is small but we keep it busy from the morning hours. We serve regular food that people in the neighborhood like. My staff and I know many of our customers by name because they come in almost every day. It is a modest place with a few tables and a lot of daily activity. We do not have any fancy decor or a big menu; we just stick to what we know. The 411042 neighborhood can be a bit loud with the traffic and the markets nearby, but that is just part of living in the heart of Pune. We focus on getting the food out on time and keeping the place tidy for the next person who walks in. It is just a local eatery doing its part.
