Penna Cement Limited

Our site for Penna Cement Limited is situated in the Village and Post Office area of Patas, within the Tehsil Daund region. We are very close to the railway station, which is quite helpful for the workers and for moving things around. It’s more of a rural setting than a city office, so things move at a slightly different pace here. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We spend our days managing the cement supplies and keeping an eye on the storage areas. The office is a simple building, nothing too special to look at, but it serves its purpose. We have a lot of dust because of the cement and the dry ground around the station, but that’s just how it is in this trade. We don’t have any polished floors or expensive furniture. It’s mostly wooden desks and metal cupboards full of files. We see the trains go by all day long, and the station bell is basically our clock for lunch and tea. It’s a straightforward life. We talk to the local contractors and the guys who drive the trucks. There isn’t any corporate talk here; we just say things as they are. We’ve been part of this village community for a while and we know most of the people who pass by our gates. It is a humble place, focused on getting the work done.
