We are based out in the M.I.D.C. industrial area in Ranjangaon, specifically at A-6/8. It’s a bit of a drive out to Tal Shirur, but this is where all the factories are. The sun hits the metal roofs here and it gets quite hot in the afternoons. Inside the plant, we have our assembly lines and the machines for making electronic parts. It’s a noisy place with the clanking of metal and the hum of the conveyor belts. We have a lot of people working here, mostly locals from the nearby villages and some who come from further away. Everyone wears their uniforms and follows the safety rules. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes off the line. If a machine breaks down, it’s a big deal and everyone scrambles to fix it. The office part of the building is a bit quieter, where the managers sit and look at the production numbers. We have a canteen where we eat together, usually just simple dal and rice. The trucks are always coming in to pick up the finished goods to ship them out. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, especially when we have big orders to meet. Ranjangaon is a dusty place with a lot of heavy traffic, but it’s where we do our business. We aren't trying to be fancy; we just want the products to be right before they leave the gate.
