Mallyanagar Typrewriting School

We have been at Arora Tower in Camp for quite a while now. Most people know the East Wing as a busy spot, but we keep things pretty quiet inside our rooms. Typewriting is one of those things that looks easy until you actually sit down in front of a machine. We have the standard machines set up. It is mostly students and some folks looking for government certificates coming in to practice. The desks are a bit old, but they work fine for what we need. We do not do anything fancy here. You just come in, sit down, and practice your keys. Some people find the clicking sound annoying, but for us, it is just the sound of work getting done. Pune has changed a lot lately, especially around MG Road, but our room stays mostly the same. We keep track of the schedules on a paper log by the door. If you miss a day, you can usually make it up later in the week. Sometimes the ribbons get stuck, and we have to fix them on the spot with a bit of ink on our hands. It is not a computer lab, so do not expect that. It is just a place to learn how to type properly without looking at your fingers. We try to keep the fans running since it gets a bit warm in the afternoons. Most students stay for an hour or so. We do not have a big sign outside. It is practical and simple.
