Madhu School Uniform

Our shop is on the Upper Ground floor at 30 East Court in Viman Nagar. Being in this part of Pune means there is always a lot of movement outside with people going to the malls or the airport. We keep a lot of local school uniforms in stock throughout the year so parents can come in whenever they need a replacement. The space inside is mostly taken up by racks of clothes and boxes of socks and belts. We spend the day helping people find the right fit which can take some time if the kids are being picky. It is a straightforward business where we just try to keep everything organized. Sometimes the delivery of new stock gets delayed and we have to tell people to come back later which is never fun. Viman Nagar has changed a lot since we first started but our shop has stayed pretty much the same. We do not use any complicated systems for our sales just a regular notebook or a simple computer. The lighting inside is a bit bright but it helps us see the different shades of navy blue and grey fabrics. We mostly just talk to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It is a small part of the local community and we are just here to do our daily work.
