Kalpana Traders

Kalpana Traders is based at Survey No. 74 in Ganesh Nagar, which is over in the Yerawada area. We are situated near the Golf Course, which is a bit funny because our side of the fence is much more industrial and busy. We deal in various goods and supplies, and the warehouse space here is usually filled with crates and sacks depending on what we have in stock that week. It’s a dusty part of town and the trucks coming in and out don't help much with that. I spend a lot of my time on the phone with suppliers or checking the inventory lists to see what needs to be ordered. We aren't some massive corporation; it’s just a local trading business that has grown bit by bit over the years. Some days the yard is full of activity, and other days it’s just us sitting around waiting for a delivery that got stuck in traffic. Yerawada is a good place for this kind of work because it’s easy for the drivers to find us. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. We just answer the phone and try to get people what they need at a fair price. Sometimes things get misplaced in the back, and we have to spend an hour moving boxes to find one specific item. That’s just the nature of trading. We keep things simple and try to be useful to the people in Ganesh Nagar.
