Jeeavan restaurant

Jeeavan restaurant is located at 828 Bhavani Peth in Pune. We are very close to the Bhavani Mata Mandir, which is a major landmark in this area. Being in the 411042 part of town means it’s always crowded and busy around our doors. We’ve been here for years, watching the traffic go by. The restaurant is a simple setup. We don’t have fancy menus with photos. It’s just good, basic food that people around here like to eat. The kitchen is small but we make it work with the space we have. Every morning starts early with getting the veggies and grains ready. Since we are near the temple, we get a lot of people stopping in after they visit. It gets quite loud during festival times, and we usually have to add a few more stools for people to sit on. Our staff has been with us for a long time, so they know the routine and don't need to be told what to do. We don’t use any corporate talk or complicated systems. We just write down the orders and get the food out as fast as we can. Sometimes we run out of things if the market was short that day or if we had a bigger crowd than expected. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to get to it right now. It’s a local place for local people.
