J. K. White Cement Works

We've been here at Krishna Chamber for quite a while now. Being on the 4th floor means we see a lot of the North Main Road traffic from our windows. J. K. White Cement Works is just a place where we handle the orders and make sure the bags get to where they need to go. It gets busy, especially in the mornings when the phones start ringing. Most people know the area because of the shops nearby. We deal with white cement mostly. It's used for all sorts of finishing work on houses. It isn't a fancy office, just some desks and files. We try to keep things moving. Sometimes the lift acts up, but we manage. My father used to say that the supply business is all about timing. We focus on that. If someone needs a few bags for a renovation, we write it down and get it sorted. The paperwork can be a bit much some days. We just want to do our job and go home. People stop by to ask about prices or just to see if we have stock. It’s a standard routine. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. Just cement. It's what we know. The North Main Road area is always noisy, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We stay open until the work is done. It’s just how we run things here. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go, but we stay put.
