We are right by the Indira Nagar Bus Stop, specifically at Number 15, so we see a lot of people coming and going all day long. It’s a great spot for a trading business because you really feel the pulse of the neighborhood from here. The sound of the buses stopping and starting is something we have just grown used to over the years. We spend our time managing the stock and talking to people who stop in while waiting for their ride. It’s a small shop but we keep it packed with all the items we trade. The shelves are usually full and sometimes things spill over onto the floor when we get a big delivery. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us behind the counter making sure everything is in order. The dust from the road is a constant battle but that is just part of being near a bus stop. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home and the shop gets a bit hectic. We just try to keep things moving and make sure people get what they need. There is no mission statement on the wall or fancy slogans here. We just open up early, stay until the buses stop running frequently, and do our work. It’s a simple life and we enjoy the interactions we have with the regulars who live around Indira Nagar.
