Harshal Hall

Harshal Hall is located at 153 Kothrud Mitha Nagar 411038. My family has been around this part of Pune for a long time now. The hall isn't anything fancy, just a plain space where people from the neighborhood come to host their small functions or family get-togethers. Most days start early with us checking the fans and making sure the floor is swept well before the guests show up. It gets pretty busy during the wedding season, and sometimes the noise from the street outside mixes with the music inside, but that is just how Kothrud is. We have a basic stage and some chairs that we keep stacked in the corner when nobody is using the place. Sometimes the lights act up, so I have to call the electrician from down the road to fix things quickly. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running day after day. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who look after the bookings and make sure the water tank is full. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live just a few blocks away in Mitha Nagar. We try to keep the place decent and reachable for everyone in the locality. It’s a simple life here, just managing the space and seeing different families come and go every week. There is always something to do, like fixing a curtain or cleaning up after a big party.
