Grasim Industries Ltd. (Cement Division)

We’re tucked away in the Kumar Samrudhi complex in Vishrantwadi. It’s a residential-style area in Pune, so it’s a bit quieter than a factory site. This is our cement division office where we handle all the coordination. It's on the third floor, room 301. We spend most of our time on computers or on the phone, talking to the sites and the suppliers. Pune traffic can be a nightmare, so we do a lot of our business remotely from here. It’s a small group of us. We share the space and keep the files organized. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a functional office where the work gets done. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, but we don't mind the stairs. We've been in this spot for a while now. Most of our day is spent making sure the numbers match up and the deliveries are scheduled correctly. We don’t have any big mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home. It feels more like a small family office than a big industrial branch. We know the local shops nearby and usually grab tea from the stall downstairs. It’s a regular routine. We like the neighborhood because it’s easy to get to. We just focus on keeping the cement moving to where it's needed across the city. It’s plain and simple work for us. We have our own way of getting things done without too much trouble.
