Down here at D P C Cement Product, things are pretty straightforward. We are located in Rajguru Nagar, specifically on the Holewadi Pabal Road. It’s a bit out of the main town, near Rajgurunagar itself. We have a big open space because cement products take up a lot of room. There is always dust everywhere, that’s just part of the business. We make various items out of cement and keep them in the yard to dry. It depends on the weather a lot. If it rains, everything slows down. We spend our days moving heavy blocks and pipes. It’s physical work and it keeps us tired by the evening. The office is just a small cabin where we sit and talk to customers who drive up. Most of them are building houses or fixing their farms nearby. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just see the stacks of cement from the road and pull in. We’ve been at this location for some years now. The sun can be quite harsh in the afternoons, so we take a break under the shade of the trees. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the trucks are loading. We just focus on making things that last. There’s no need for big talk when you’re working with stone and sand all day long.
