Birla Shakti Cement

You can find us on the 3rd floor of the Century Architect building, which is over on Narangi Baug Road. This part of the city, near Boat Club Road, is actually quite nice and a bit quieter than the main markets. Being up on the third floor means we are away from the street noise, which helps when we are trying to get the office work done for Birla Shakti Cement. The building is shared with a few other offices, so there’s always people coming and going in the hallways. Our space is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few filing cabinets, and posters on the wall showing different construction projects. It’s not the kind of place where customers walk in off the street every minute, since most of our business is handled over the phone or by people we already know. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being serviced, but we’re used to it by now. There’s a small balcony where we sometimes go to get some air, and you can see the trees lining Narangi Baug Road from there. It’s a steady kind of job, managing the cement supplies and making sure the logistics are moving. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a regular office where the work gets handled properly every day. It’s a good spot for us and it works well for what we do.
