Our shop is located at 983 Raviwar Peth, right on Laxmi Road. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends. Bhooshan Dealers Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this street for a long time. It’s a narrow building, so we have to stack things pretty high to make use of the space. Sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in when we get a big delivery, but we manage. We sell a variety of things, and the inventory changes quite a bit depending on what’s available. Most of the time, I’m behind the counter and there’s always someone coming in asking for something we just sold out of. That’s just how it goes here. The building is old, and the stairs creak every time you go up to the storage area. We have a few old fans that help with the heat, but they’re pretty loud. We don’t have a website or anything like that because we prefer to just talk to the people who walk through the door. It’s more personal that way. We know many of the other shop owners on the street, and we often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a busy, noisy life on Laxmi Road, but we wouldn’t really want to be anywhere else. It’s where we belong. After we close, the street finally goes quiet for a few hours.
