Beyond Diamonds

Running a place like Beyond Diamonds in Kalewadi keeps us pretty busy. Our shop is tucked into the Nidhivan Shopping Center, not too far from Anmol Residency. It’s a nice enough area, and we get a lot of people walking by while they do their daily shopping. We spend a lot of our time sitting at the counters, looking through various stones and settings. It’s quiet work that needs a steady hand. People usually come in when they have something big happening, like a wedding or a birthday. They ask a lot of questions about how things are made or what looks best, and we just tell them what we know. We aren't trying to push anyone into buying things they don't need. Most of our pieces are just sitting there in the glass cases for people to look at. Sometimes the mall gets a bit noisy on the weekends when families are out, but inside the shop, we try to keep things calm. We’ve got our tools and our routines. It isn't a huge operation, just a few of us making sure everything is cleaned and displayed right. We’ve been in this shopping center for a while now, so we know the other shop owners and the regulars. It’s a decent way to spend the day, working with things that people value and being part of the local community.
