If you’ve ever walked past the Ghorpadi Market, you probably know where we are. We sit right across from the Bank of Maharashtra. It’s a busy part of town, honestly. There’s always the sound of horns and people shouting about vegetable prices just outside the gate. We’ve been here in Ghorpadi for a long time now. The school building is pretty standard, nothing too flashy about it, just a lot of classrooms and a big open space for the kids. In the mornings, the street gets really crowded with cycles and rickshaws dropping everyone off. It’s a bit chaotic until the bell rings. After that, it settles down a little, though the market noise never really stops. We spend our days mostly keeping things moving. The teachers have their own routines, and the staff is always busy fixing something or cleaning the hallways. It’s a practical place. We don’t have fancy statues or anything, just desks, boards, and lots of students. When the sun gets hot in the afternoon, the shade from the old trees on the grounds is where everyone wants to be. It’s just a normal school doing its thing in a noisy corner of Pune. We’ve seen many groups of kids come through and move on. The windows rattle a bit when the big trucks go by, but you get used to it after a while. It’s home for us for most of the day and we like it that way.
