If you walk down the Main Road in Budhwar Peth, you’ll find us right near G T M M Boys Chowk. It’s a very busy part of Pune, and things never really slow down around here. Our address is Survey No 1179, and we’ve been here for a long time. People come in from the chowk looking for a quick bite or just a place to sit away from the heat. The restaurant isn't very big, and the tables are a bit close together, but that’s just how these old buildings are. We start early, usually before the sun is even fully up, getting the stove going. The noise from the street is always there, bikes honking and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the cooking. Sometimes we run out of things if the crowd is too big, and we have to tell people to wait. It’s not always perfect. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re too busy serving plates to worry about that right now. We get a lot of regulars who work in the nearby shops. They don't even look at a menu anymore, they just tell us what they want. It’s nice seeing the same faces every day. We don't do anything too special, just basic food that people like. It’s a hard business, but it keeps us going here in the middle of Budhwar Peth.
