Down in Wakad Gaonthan, right behind the Allamghir Masjid, you will find our concrete office. It is a very busy part of Pune these days. The roads around here are quite narrow and there is always some kind of traffic. Our yard is usually filled with big trucks and the smell of fresh concrete. The office is just a small cabin sitting on the edge of the property. To be honest, we spend more time outside in the yard than we do sitting at our desks. It gets very loud when the mixers are running, but we don't mind it. We have a small team of people here. Most of the guys have been working in the concrete business for many years now. We know this neighborhood inside and out. Sometimes the rain turns the ground into a muddy mess. We just put on our boots and keep moving. It is definitely not a fancy office job. We deal with local builders and people who need supplies for their own small houses. We don’t have a receptionist to greet people. If you walk in, someone will eventually look up from their paperwork and help you out. It is just an honest way to spend the day for us. We are part of the Ultratech side of the group. Pune is growing so fast that we stay busy all year round. We close up when the sun goes down and start our commute home through the city traffic.
