Sri Sankar'S Vidyalaya Hr. Sec School is located on West Car Street in Villiyanur. This part of Pondicherry has a lot of tradition, and being on West Car Street means we are right in the heart of the village area. The school is an old building that has been part of the landscape for a long time. We have students from all over Villiyanur and the nearby villages. It’s a higher secondary school, so we’re focused on the older kids who are finishing up their studies. The atmosphere here is usually quite calm, except when the bell rings for lunch. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just a group of teachers and staff trying to help the next generation. The school has a courtyard where kids gather, and the classrooms are old-fashioned but comfortable. We follow the regular syllabus and make sure everyone stays on track with their studies. Villiyanur is a special place with the temple nearby, and we feel connected to that history. People know us as a place that’s been around forever. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just school. We open the gates in the morning and close them in the evening. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. Most of us have lived in Pondicherry our whole lives, so we know the families here well. We just keep doing our duty every day.
