Arunai English School

Arunai English School is located in Rks Sridhar Nagar, which is over in the Karikallampakkam part of Pondicherry. It is a bit of a quiet neighborhood, away from the tourist spots and the heavy traffic of the main town. Most of the people who work here live just a short distance away, so we know the area very well. The school itself is a simple structure, a few floors with classrooms that look out over the nearby houses. We decided to focus on English medium because parents around here really want that for their children’s future. The rooms aren't very large, and when it’s full, it can get quite warm. We have a small courtyard where the kids gather for the morning assembly. It’s nothing fancy, just a concrete space where they stand in lines. During the monsoon season, the rain can be quite loud on the roof, and sometimes we have to mop up a bit of water that leaks in through the window frames. We don't have a big library or a huge computer lab, but we make sure the students have the textbooks they need. The atmosphere is very local, and you often see parents stopping by to talk to the teachers about small things. It’s just a neighborhood school trying to help the kids learn their lessons and get through their exams without any big fuss. We just keep things moving as well as we can every day.
