F S D A English High School

We are located right on the Pondy Main Road, which is a very busy part of Pondicherry. You can hear the buses and horns all day long from the street, but once you step inside our gate, it gets a little bit more manageable. F S D A is an English high school, and we have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Our address is easy to find because everyone knows the main road. The building is several floors high, and we have to manage the space carefully because being in the middle of the city means we do not have a huge sprawling campus. We spend most of our time just getting through the curriculum. There is always a lot of pressure with the high school exams, so the older students are usually quite busy. We have a small staff room where we keep our lunch boxes and piles of notebooks that need grading. It is not a glamorous job, but we stay busy. We do not use any big words to describe ourselves. We are just a school that teaches in English and tries to keep things orderly in a crowded area. Sometimes the rain floods the road outside, and we have to help the kids get home safely. It is just about managing the day-to-day things and making sure the students are actually learning something.
