Rajprabha Matriculation School

Located right on Salai Mariamman Koil Street in Muthialpet, Rajprabha Matriculation School has been part of this Pondicherry neighborhood for a long time. Our building is at number 11, and it's a place where things are kept simple. We don't have a huge campus with fountains or wide grassy fields. Instead, we have solid classrooms that have seen many different groups of students come and go over the long years. The teachers here are practical people who live nearby and know the local families very well. We follow the matriculation system and stick to the basics of a good education. Every single morning, you can hear the kids during the assembly from out on the street. It's a bit loud sometimes, especially for the neighbors, but that’s just how it is with a school in a busy residential area like ours. We don’t spend any money on fancy advertisements or brochures because our reputation in Muthialpet usually does all the talking for us. We just try to make sure the kids learn their subjects and behave decently toward each other. The desks in some rooms are a bit old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint next summer, but it's a fully functional place. We handle the daily routine of teaching and exams without much drama. Parents often stop by the front gate to chat with us about local news, and we like it that way. It's a local school for local kids, run by regular people who live right here in Pondicherry.
