Psbb Millennium School Cuddalore

You will find us tucked away in the Anueraha Satellite Township, right on the 13th Cross in Periyakattupalayam. It is an interesting spot because we are sitting right there on the edge of Pondicherry and Cuddalore. A lot of the families who live in the township send their children here, so there is a real sense of community in the mornings at the gate. The buildings are fairly modern, but we still have to deal with the same daily things any school does, like fixing leaky taps or making sure the water coolers are actually cold. The kids have a lot of energy, and you can hear them all the way down the street when they are out for break. We have a mix of teachers, some who live right here in the township and others who commute from the city. The area is mostly quiet, which helps when the students are trying to focus on their exams. There is a playground out back where the grass has a hard time growing because of the sun, but the kids don't care about that when they are playing. We don’t go in for anything too flashy here. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the kids understand their books before the final bell rings. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to open the windows wider and keep going. It is a practical, everyday kind of school for the local families.
