Vimis Gravy & Grill

We are located right by the 22 No. Phatak on Bhupindra Road, near Khoobsurat Palace in Patiala. The kitchen here is always warm because the grills stay on for most of the day. You can smell the spices from the street when we start cooking the gravy in the large pots every morning. It is not a quiet place, especially with the sound of the traffic and the railway crossing nearby. We have a few tables inside where people sit down to eat, and it is usually just a mix of students and people working in the area. Our staff is small, mostly just a couple of us in the back and one person handling the front counter. We do a lot of cleaning because the grill makes things greasy quite fast. We don't use any pre-made mixes; we just chop the onions and tomatoes ourselves every single day. The menu is just what we know how to cook well. Sometimes we run out of certain things by late evening if it has been a busy afternoon. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but we keep it swept. It is just a regular food spot where you can get something hot to eat. We don't do fancy plating or anything like that. We just put the food on the plate and bring it out to the table as soon as it is ready.
