E L Ideas Restaurants

Our place, E L Ideas Restaurants, is located on Bhupindra Road at S.C.O 3. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the PWD Rest House here in Patiala. The road gets quite busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Inside, it is just a standard setup with enough tables to handle the lunch crowd. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old paint and maybe a calendar or two. The kitchen is at the back, and you can usually hear the sounds of pots and pans clanging while you wait. We open up the shutters every morning and start by sweeping the floor. The air in Patiala can get a bit dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables and the counters. People from the rest house sometimes come over for a meal when they don't want to eat there. It is a quiet enough spot during the mid-afternoon, which is when we usually take a break ourselves. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's just a restaurant where you can sit down, eat your food, and go about your day. We handle everything ourselves, from the shopping for vegetables to serving the plates. It is a lot of work but it keeps us going throughout the long week.
