Corner Restaurant

Corner Restaurant is located at 45 Second Main Road here in Patiala. We are very close to the main bus stand, so we get a lot of people who are just passing through town. Being near the transport hub means things are always moving. We open up early to catch the morning travelers and stay open late for those arriving on the night buses. The building is an older one, but it has a lot of character. We keep the dining area simple with basic wooden furniture. It's not the kind of place where you need to dress up. Most of our regulars are local workers or students from the nearby areas. We serve the kind of food that tastes like home cooking. There isn't a massive menu, just the things we know how to make well. Sometimes the street outside is really noisy with all the buses honking, but inside we try to keep it a bit more relaxed. We handle everything ourselves, from buying the ingredients at the market to serving the plates. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our hands are rarely clean for long. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing us on the corner and deciding to come in. It’s a humble business, and we are just trying to make a living like everyone else here in Patiala.
