A One Family Restaurant

We started A One Family Restaurant on Passy Road here in Patiala. A lot of people find us because we are right opposite Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib. It’s a very peaceful spot compared to the rest of the city but still gets plenty of visitors. We wanted a place where families could just sit down without it being too loud or too expensive. We've got tables set up for small and large groups. The kitchen stays busy throughout the day especially on weekends when families come out after visiting the Gurudwara. It's not a very big place but we make it work. We've lived in Patiala our whole lives so we know what people like to eat around here. It's mostly just traditional stuff that we grew up with. Sometimes we run out of things if the crowd is too big but we try to stay on top of it. My uncle helps with the accounts and the rest of us handle the floor and the cooking. The road outside can get a bit cramped with parked cars but we try to help people out with that. It's a humble setup, nothing too shiny or corporate. We just wanted to run our own business and this seemed like the right spot. We don't have any big advertisements, mostly people just see the sign while walking by. It's been a few years now and we are happy to be part of this neighborhood. We just hope you have a nice time when you visit.
