CHOUDHARY VAISHNO DHABHA

We are located on kaka hotel road in Patiala, which is right backside the bus stand. Being in this area means it is always a bit crowded and noisy. You can hear the buses pulling in and out and the drivers shouting all day long. This dhaba is a small place where we serve vegetarian food to whoever comes in. We don't have any fancy signs or a big entrance. Most of our customers are people waiting for their next bus or workers from the shops nearby. The road is narrow and sometimes it gets blocked by carts or rickshaws. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen over the hot stove preparing meals. It’s a simple life running a dhaba like this. We don't use any complicated recipes, just the basic stuff that tastes like home. Sometimes we run out of something and have to run to the market quickly to get more supplies for the evening. The walls could use a bit of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We’ve been at this spot for a long time and the people around here know us well. It’s not a big business, just a way for us to make a living and feed the people who are passing through Patiala. We just keep going day by day, making sure the food is ready when the hungry crowds arrive at the stand.
