You can find us at 6-A, Jyoti Enclave, which is right across from Mohindra College. It is a decent spot, though the students make it quite lively during the day. We are Vdi Exports and we have been handling the export side of things from this office for a while. It isn't a massive warehouse or anything, just a functional space where we manage all the logs and shipping details. The office has a few big windows that look out towards the college gate. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails to make sure things are moving across borders like they should. It is a lot of coordination, really. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, especially with the different regulations, but that is just part of the trade. We don't really have a sales pitch or a fancy website that talks about dreams. We just focus on the containers and the schedules. My cousin helps me out with the accounts, and we have a couple of guys who handle the logistics. It is a practical setup. Patiala is a good place to be based, even if it’s not a huge metro city. We like the pace here. When the college is on break, it gets really quiet around Jyoti Enclave, which is a nice change of pace for us. We just keep our heads down and make sure the goods get where they need to go.
