Vaastukriti Architects

Our office at Vaastukriti Architects is located at J 2/10 in Gobind Colony. It’s right across the street from A P Jain Hospital in Rajpura, so it’s a very easy place to find. Being in a residential colony makes it a bit quieter than the main markets, although the hospital traffic keeps things moving. The office is basically a few rooms filled with large drafting tables and computers. There are always rolls of paper and blueprints lying around, sometimes on the floor if we run out of desk space. It isn't a polished design studio you might see in a magazine. It’s a working office where we spend a lot of time arguing over drawings and drinking way too much coffee. We have a small kettle in the back that is probably the most important piece of equipment we own. The building itself is just a standard Rajpura structure. We’ve been here for several years, and we’ve seen the colony change quite a bit. Usually, we are here from early morning until late evening. It’s just us doing our thing, trying to get the lines straight on the screen. We don't have a fancy reception or any promotional brochures lying around. Most people come to us because they’ve seen our name around or live nearby. It’s a very down-to-earth way of doing things, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The evenings are usually nice here when the traffic finally settles down.
