We’ve been running things here at 1337/A in the B.Tank Arya Samaj area for a long time now. It’s a busy corner of the city, and our office isn't anything too fancy, just a solid place where we get the work done. Bharat Kumar keeps his drafting table near the window to get the best light in the mornings. You can usually find a stack of blueprints and some half-empty tea cups scattered around. Working as an architect in a place like this means you see everything from small house renovations to bigger building projects. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and checking the local rules to make sure everything is okay. The neighbors around B.Tank know us well, and we often hear the noise from the street while we are trying to concentrate on a tricky design. It gets quite dusty sometimes with the traffic outside, but we like being in the middle of it all. Most days are spent talking to contractors or drawing up plans that people can actually use. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated software unless we really have to. It’s more about making sure the walls are straight and the rooms make sense. Sometimes a client comes in with a rough sketch on a piece of paper, and we sit down to turn it into something real. That’s just how we do it here.
