The Waves Bar

You can find The Waves Bar inside the Hotel Eqbal Inn. We are located on Rajpura Road in the Sst Nagar area of Patiala. The bar is a small, quiet spot within the hotel. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a simple setup with a wooden counter and some padded chairs. We don't have a lot of flashing lights or loud sound systems. It’s mostly just a place where people come to have a drink after work. The staff is small, usually just one or two of us behind the bar. We spend a lot of time washing glasses and making sure the bottles are in the right place. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. We don't have a fancy list of expensive cocktails. Most people just order the usual stuff. The lighting is low, which helps hide the fact that the carpet is a bit worn in places. We get a lot of regulars from around Patiala. It’s a steady kind of place. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just open the doors in the evening and wait for people to come in. It’s an honest, quiet bar where you can sit and talk without much fuss.
