Rasoi A Family Restaurant

If you’re looking for us, we are right on Street No-1 in Patiala, directly opposite Punjabi University. Being near the university means we see a lot of students and teachers all day long. It keeps us on our toes. The restaurant is a family-run kind of place. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just open the doors in the morning and start cooking. The furniture is simple, and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so families feel okay bringing their kids here. It can get a bit hectic during the afternoon when classes let out, but we manage. My family and I spend most of our time here, so it feels like a second home to us. We’ve had the same stove for years, and it’s still going strong. Sometimes we run out of something on the menu, but we just let people know and they usually don't mind. We aren't trying to be the most popular place in Patiala, just a reliable one. You won't find any elaborate garnishes on our plates. It’s just food meant to be eaten. We’re glad to be a part of the neighborhood near the university. It’s a good spot to be, and we plan to stay here as long as people keep coming. Every day is a bit different, but the work stays the same for us in the kitchen.
