You can find us right at the backside of the bus stand in Patiala. We are also quite near the railway station, so there are always people moving around this area. Being a Punjabi vaishno dhabha, we only do vegetarian food. It is a busy spot, 147001 is the pin code here. Being near the transport hubs means we see a lot of commuters and travelers who have just stepped off a bus or a train. They are usually in a hurry, so we try to keep things moving. The place isn't big and it's definitely not fancy. It’s got that simple Patiala vibe. We don't use those corporate phrases or have a big "about us" page on a website. This is just a place where we cook. Sometimes the floor is a bit wet from cleaning or the fans are humming loud, but it’s a real place. We've been here for a long time. People come here because they know where we are, right behind the bus stand. We don't need to do much talking. The food is what it is. We wake up early to get the lentils and vegetables ready. It's hard work but it's what we know. If you are coming from the railway station, it is just a short walk. We are just a local dhabha trying to serve the people who pass through this part of town every single day. We just stay busy.
