Sri Sai Ganghesh Seeds & Pesticides

We are out in Bapu Nagar Vistar, in the area known as New Bapu Nagar. Running Sri Sai Ganghesh Seeds & Pesticides means we spend a lot of time talking to folks who come in from the surrounding fields and gardens. Our shop is filled with the smell of earth and different supplies. It is not the cleanest place because we are constantly moving bags of seeds and containers around. The shelves are packed tight and sometimes things get a bit disorganized during the busy planting seasons. We have been in New Bapu Nagar for a while and the locals know to look for us when they need something for their crops. It is a practical business, very hands-on. We do not have much time for sitting around. Usually, there is a line of people waiting or someone asking questions about what to plant this month. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan running to keep things cool. We use simple ledgers to keep track of things rather than complicated computers. It is just how we prefer to do it. Being in Bapu Nagar Vistar feels right for us. We know the soil around here and we know the people. It is hard work, especially when the weather isn't helping, but we enjoy the routine and the familiar faces that stop by every week. This is our life in New Bapu Nagar.
