Solai Organics

Our place, Solai Organics, is located out in the RIICO Industrial Area, 4th Phase, specifically at G-17-18-19. It is a big space because we need the room for all the materials we handle. Being in an industrial zone means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around us. It is not a quiet office. It is a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. We spend hours checking the piles of stuff we have and making sure the packaging is tied up right. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons and it can get quite warm inside, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be some huge company with a fancy lobby or anything like that. We just have our workspace and our tools. Sometimes the delivery trucks get lost trying to find the 4th phase, so we end up standing out by the road to wave them in. It's a lot of manual labor, counting bags and loading them onto the flatbeds when they arrive. We keep a small area for our lunch breaks where we sit on the crates and talk about the news or the weather. It is a basic setup, but it works for what we do here in this part of the industrial area. We just keep our heads down and get the work done before it gets too dark.
