Sonu Gents Parlor

Sonu Gents Parlor is out on the Ranakpur Desuri Road in Sadri. It is a simple place where men come to get their hair cut or a quick shave. Because we are on the main road, we get a mix of local people from Sadri and travelers who are passing through on their way to Ranakpur or Desuri. The shop is not very large, just a couple of chairs and some basic tools. We have the radio playing in the background most of the time, and a couple of fans to keep the air moving during the hot afternoons. It gets really warm out here, so the shop is a nice place for people to sit for a few minutes while they wait their turn. We don't have any fancy spa treatments or expensive products, just a straightforward haircutting service. I have been cutting hair for a long time, so I know most of the styles the local guys like. We spend the day talking about the crops, the weather, or whatever else is going on in the village. It is a slow-paced life, but we like it that way. We just focus on doing a decent job so that people feel better when they walk back out onto the road. The address is easy to find if you are driving through.
