Dharmendra Hair Cutting

I run a small hair cutting shop here in Marwar. It’s a simple place with just the basic chairs and mirrors you’d expect. I’ve been cutting hair for the local men and kids around here for quite some time now. There’s no fancy styling or expensive products, just a good haircut and maybe a shave if that’s what someone wants. Most of the time, the shop is full of talk about what’s happening in town or how the weather is affecting the crops. I don’t have a big sign or a website, people just know where I am in Marwar. I keep my tools sharp and the shop swept, though hair gets everywhere during a busy afternoon. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait, so people just sit on the bench and chat until it’s their turn. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. I started this because I like the work and it lets me stay connected with everyone in the area. I don't use any complicated techniques, just the traditional way of doing things that I learned years ago. It’s an honest living and I enjoy the daily routine of seeing familiar faces. If you need a trim, you can just walk in. I don’t do appointments; I just take people as they come through the door. It is a quiet business but it keeps me busy enough every day. I try to keep everything clean and ready for the next person.
