Ganesham Salon

If you are looking for Ganesham Salon, we are right here on Nahar Road, near the Jat Hostel and College Road. It is a busy spot because of all the students walking by all the time. We opened up here because it felt like a good place to be in the middle of everything. Inside, it’s just the usual setup with mirrors and chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable enough. We do a lot of haircuts and shaves from morning until late at night. Sometimes the radio is playing some old songs and other times it’s just the sound of scissors clicking away. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast so we are always sweeping it up. It gets a bit crowded on weekends when everyone wants to look sharp for their time off. We know most of the guys from the hostel by now. They come in to talk about their classes or just to get out of the heat for a bit. There’s a particular way the light hits the street outside in the evening. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old posters. It is a simple shop and we try to keep things moving so no one has to wait too long. It’s just how we run things here on Nahar Road. We’ve got a small water cooler in the corner that everyone uses.
