Astha Beauty Parlor

Astha Beauty Parlor is a local spot located in Tagor Nagar. It is a small place tucked away where we do regular beauty work for the women in the neighborhood. The space isn’t very large, so we have to be organized with where we put our supplies. We have a couple of chairs for hair and skin treatments and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. The walls have a few mirrors and some posters of different hairstyles that have been there for a bit. We spend the day doing things like threading, waxing, and hair cutting. It is a simple setup with a tiled floor that we sweep frequently. Most of our customers are people who live just around the corner and walk over. We usually have the radio playing softly or we just talk about what is going on in Tagor Nagar. It feels like a homey environment because we know almost everyone who walks through the door. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget, just the work we do every day. There is a small window that lets in some natural light, and we have a few cabinets for our towels and creams. It is a practical little parlor where we just focus on the job and keep things friendly for everyone.
