Goyal Beauty Parlor

Goyal Beauty Parlor is right here in Sojat City on Subhash Marg. It’s a local place where women come to get their hair done or maybe some henna when there’s a wedding or a festival. We have been on Subhash Marg for quite a few years now. The street is always full of life, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Our parlor isn't very big, but we have enough space for a few chairs and a table for threading and stuff. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some pictures of hairstyles and a few mirrors. It’s a comfortable place where you can just sit and talk while we work. I usually have the fan going because it gets pretty hot in Sojat City during the summer months. We know almost everyone in the neighborhood. Mothers bring their daughters, and then those daughters grow up and bring their own kids. It’s nice to see that happening. We don't try to be like those expensive salons in the big cities. We just do a regular job for the local people. I spend my time making sure the combs are clean and the floor is swept. It’s a simple life running a shop on Subhash Marg. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person is finished. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat even if they don't need their hair done. It's just the way things are in Sojat City, and we like the rhythm of it.
