Shweta Overseas

Shweta Overseas is right at the Maharana Pratap Choraha on Sojat Road. It is a very busy intersection and there is always noise from horns and people shouting. We handle things related to shipping and local products that go out to other places. Being in Sojat, we deal with a lot of henna because that is what this whole area is famous for. Our office is just a simple room with a couple of desks and a lot of samples. There are boxes stacked up in the corner waiting to be picked up by the transport trucks. It is not a fancy corporate setup at all. We wear our everyday clothes and spend a lot of time checking lists and talking to the drivers. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port and it is a bit of a headache for me. I spend a lot of my day on the computer or the phone. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. Outside, the tea stall is always full of people. Sometimes I go there just to get away from the office for ten minutes. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things get sent to the right place. It is a lot of checking and re-checking every single document. The heat can be quite bad in the summer, but we have a good cooler that helps. It is just a regular business trying to get things done.
