Diwer Mahila Pragati Agro Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Diwer, and we usually meet or can be found through the Government Maharana Pratap Adarsh Senior Secondary School area. We are a company run by women from right here in the village. The name Diwer Mahila Pragati Agro Producer Company Limited is quite a long one, but it basically means we are women in Diwer trying to move forward with our farming and agro work. We focus on various agro products. Sometimes it is grains, sometimes vegetables, or other things we grow and process ourselves. In our village, the women have always done a lot of the heavy lifting on the farms, but we didn't always have a seat at the table when it came to the business side of things. Now, with this company, we are taking charge of that part too. It is not some polished corporate office. We are just local mothers, wives, and sisters working together. We talk about our business while we are handling our daily chores and looking after the animals. It is a way for us to gain some progress and help our families stay stable. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. Our only goal is to work hard and make sure our produce gets to the market at a price that is fair. We are learning new things every day. We are very proud of what we have started here in Diwer for ourselves.
