Parkesh Hair Art

Parkesh Hair Art is at 64 Navlakha Road, right next to the old bus stand. Being so close to the bus stand means there is always a lot of movement outside. We get many people who are just waiting for their bus and decide to stop in for a quick trim or a shave. The shop is not very large, but we have enough room for our chairs and a small area for people to sit while they wait. We have been at this location for a long time and the neighborhood knows us well. We use the same kind of tools that barbers have used for decades. The shop has a very traditional feel to it. We do not have air conditioning, but the high ceilings and fans help keep it cool enough. We have some posters on the wall showing different hair styles, but most of our customers just want a standard cut. We take pride in keeping our razors sharp and our towels clean for every person who sits in our chairs. The noise from the buses and the street vendors is a constant background sound here. We do not do any fancy styling or use expensive hair treatments. It is just a place for a good, simple haircut at a fair price. We enjoy talking with the different people who come through the door, whether they are regulars or just passing through for the day.
