Mona Herbal Beauty Parlor Traning Center

I’ve been running this place at Housing Board 2 A 9 for quite some time now. It’s a mix of a beauty parlor and a spot where I teach people how to do herbal treatments. The training part is usually busy in the mornings because that's when most of the students can make it. We have some chairs and all the basic equipment you’d expect. The walls have some posters about skin care and hair. It’s not a huge space but we make it work for everyone who comes in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a class is going on and customers are waiting for their turn. I mostly handle the teaching myself. We use a lot of herbal stuff here because that’s what people usually ask for in this neighborhood. I keep the supplies organized on the shelves near the back. It’s a simple setup really. People from around the housing board know where we are. Usually, the door is open and you can hear the fans going. It gets quite warm in the afternoons so we try to keep the air moving. I don’t have a big staff or anything, just a couple of helpers who know the routine. We spend our days doing facials, threading, and showing the new girls how to hold the thread right. It’s a lot of repetition but that is how they learn. We don't have fancy signs, just the one outside so people find the right door.
