Wintex Metal Industries

We’re based out in Vasai East, specifically in Sativali Village at the Tungareshwar Industrial Estate. Our unit is number 12, called Gangotri. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the Thane district, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. Metalwork is what we do, so the shop is full of machines, scrap pieces, and the smell of oil. It’s definitely not a clean environment, but it’s a productive one. We spend most of our time at the workbenches or running the lathes. The guys wear overalls and usually have grease on their hands because that’s the nature of the job. It’s loud, it’s a bit dusty, and it gets very hot under the tin roof during the middle of the day. We don't have a website that we update often or any fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the industrial area or regular contacts who know we can handle the metal parts they need. We just try to get the dimensions right and finish the batches on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the morning fixing it ourselves. It’s a practical, hands-on kind of life. We don't talk much while working, just get the pieces finished and stacked up for the next delivery truck that arrives at our gate.
