M. B. Steel

M. B. Steel is located at Gali No. 9 in the Heena Industrial Estate. We are right opposite Shiv Shankar Industries-1 and situated behind the Burmasel Petrol Pump in Valiv, Vasai East. Being behind the petrol pump makes it easy for people to find us once they get off the main road. The industrial estate is quite large and there are many units doing all sorts of heavy work. We focus on steel and that means our gala is full of heavy pipes and sheets. It can be quite a workout moving the inventory around by hand. The air in Vasai East always smells a bit like smoke and metal which is normal for this area. Our unit is just a practical workspace where we cut and store steel. The floor is made of rough concrete and is usually scratched up from the metal. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just wake up, come to the estate, and handle the steel orders that we have for the day. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the metal too hot to touch without thick gloves. We have a small water cooler in the corner which is probably the most popular thing in the shop during May. It is a straightforward operation here and we like to keep things simple. Dealing with steel is hard work but we are used to it.
